40th Season Launch

Join us for our 40th Anniversary Season Launch on March 23rd! We are so excited to finally share a stacked season of shows, music and events in celebration of our 40th Birthday. There will be snacks, a cash bar, music, and lots of opportunities to win some fun prizes.

In 1984, Mary Vingoe and Michael Fuller staged the first production aboard the Kipawo, an old and dilapidated ferry vessel, after Conrad Byers had pioneered the return of the vessel from the shores of Newfoundland. You’ll be in Her Arms by Midnight and Other Parrsboro Stories ran for six days and played to sold out houses, and marks the birth of Ship’s Company Theatre.

Now, 40 years later, we have a venue, an annual jam-packed summer season, and Mary Vingoe’s daughter at the helm! Come see what’s in store for this very special year, and please consider donating $40.00 to the Ship if you would like to support our 40th season!
