How do I get tickets?
You can call our Box Office at 1-902-254-3000 or toll-free at 1-800-565-SHOW, or buy your tickets online. Either way we will get you the best seats possible – our theatre is intimate and no seat is farther than 8 meters (25 feet) from the stage.

The Ship’s Company Theatre accepts Visa, Mastercard, and American Express for online, telephone, or in-person purchases, as well as Interac, cheques (please make payable to the Ship’s Company Theatre), and cash when booking in-person.

What are the Box Office hours?

What should I wear?
We’re casual at the Ship, and we love you just the way you are. You can come in your shorts and sandals, or you can dress up and make a night of it! Either way we welcome you aboard.

What if I buy tickets but can’t go?
Tickets are non-refundable but may be exchanged for another performance (within that production and subject to availability) providing they are received at the Box Office (in person, by mail, fax or email) at least 24 hours prior to the performance for which they were issued. Exchanges have a small handling fee (free for season ticket holders). If exchanging for a higher-priced ticket, you will be asked to pay the difference.

Where can I find deals and discounts?
Our ticket prices are amongst the lowest in the country. When we do offer discounts you can find out about them by signing up for our e-newsletter, facebook page, or twitter feed.

When should I arrive?
Doors open about 30 minutes before the performance begins. If you’ve ordered your tickets by phone or online and you haven’t had them mailed to you in advance, you’ll pick them up at the box office just before you enter.

What are previews?
Wednesday and Thursday Previews are the customary performance period at the very start of a show’s run, before the critics have been invited to see it. Ticket prices are Pay What You Can for these shows as we make refinements to shows in our previews, though what you see on the stage during that period will not be markedly different from what the critics see.

Can I get food or drink at the theatre?
You bet! Anything you buy at our concession / bar you can take into the theatre – including beer, cider and wine.

Please don’t bring in anything you’ve bought outside the theatre – it can be noisy and / or smelly, and you’d have to bring enough for everybody!

The show’s over – now what?
Have a drink or a dessert at one of Parrsboro’s restaurants or bistros, of course! If you are “from away”, we encourage you to spend a night or two in our town, go for a kayak or take in the local sights – then go tell all your friends and encourage them to come to Parrsboro and see more theatre!

There is on-site accessible parking spaces available for patrons with disabilities.
